Received a Credit Card statement for Mum this morning!
I didn't even know she had a credit card!! Neither did my brother!!
She owed £25.43 which included a late payment fee 😔 she made a £12.90 payment way back in August 🤦
When I phoned her to ask about it, her response was 'I didn't think ' not sorry it was a mistake!!!
I have spent all day on the phone!!
Spoken to nine people and countless robots, trying to stay calm!! Transferred many times and cut off more than once!!! Finally managed to make the payment and get the charge waived!!
After checking with my brother, rightly or wrongly I have cancelled the card! She has a debit card, and I always make sure she has plenty of cash! I am not going through that again!
Wish me luck for letting her know I have cancelled the Credit Card 🤞
