There are a lot of incredibly good mangas and light novels out there that would make amazing adaptations into movies, shows, and games. But, as with all things, the benefit would wear off after a few years once major players take hold (hollywood, netflix, hulu) and completely butcher the shit out of everything they can get their filthy fucking hands on. It would be a nightmare scenario where after maybe 3 or 4 years those entities alone would probably make me hate anime.
