When technology has no national boundaries, governments topple. It causes anarchy when a big structures like blockchains fail be it from hacking or some problem that we can't foresee now. It'd be literal chaos. One such event and when you can't blame anyone due to anonymity, can't get the lost money back, youre back to governments bailing people out by printing more money out of thin air.
