I think part of this is algorithmic social media breaking everyone’s brains and making people think you’ll miss out if you don’t get into that place that’s hot. I’ve been to a few of the hot places in BCN and they are 100% interchangeable with all the other places, it’s just that they’re on Instagram. the delightful thing about BCN is you can walk right past the sceney bullshit to the quiet place next door and still have an incredible time.
