The walled garden.
Inside it was immaculate, nothing out of place, vices hidden, illusions aplenty I greatly enjoyed my time the past week being a guest. I needed no distractions from the daily toil as toil was rendered obsolete, at the cost of a month's labour. The harshest slag was “friend” in a joyfully stern tone. It felt much like a movie, because it was staged for enjoyment every sense delighted, only taste was real, and so exquisite that I down tuned the others to fully slow time.
My family and I had the greatest time, and I shall dub the trip the “boys are back trip” I was able to teach my son many things work keeps me from, ranging from bringing a gentleman to how to use a urinal properly (to quote another dad “don't put yer junk on it”). Using my time I introduced things that require patience understanding and hands on experience, it's tough to fit these things into 24hr weekends and 2hr weekdays that my refined labour allows. My daughter showed me who was in charge, and I was excited about it as she's turning into a force that will be hard to miss, even if disappointment still stings, she's coming sword in hand.
So I have full confidence in our goals and the ability to reach them as I look toward what I build for the next generations on the farm. I am nurturing my soil as I see roots tapping deeper. I hope my family grows where I have chosen, or at least I provide them with their goals, cause that's all we want.
With all of this, I had to bump into people, much like myself clearly aligned, and some not so clairvoyant. Many individuals are unhealthy, not just in their diet but also in the family unit. I heard Mountain Dew for breakfast and watched too many youths pacified by a personal screen in the world's happiest place. So take heed as we continue our journey many things can be taken from us, but only we can admit defeat to the forces against us.
I shall leave you with the quotes from the week as my writing always meanders and has been kindly called covulated.
Once a shop sails it continues to sailing or it sinks
It's a small world after all
The reward for doing work is the ability to do more work.
