May I introduce Ted, who's been with me across three continents and more time than I dare to say.
I was on a Christmas holiday aged about 5 at a lovely place called Umngazi and was given Ted. I loved him but told my parents I didn't like his squeak (one of those things that squeak when you squeeze it). My mum agreed and said that he could have an operation to fix it.
I was duly sent off to play with my brothers and friends. Came back and his operation had been a complete success. He still bears the scar and tells the story 😀
