I’ll one-up you… I remember my dad coming home with a Texas Instruments TI 99-4a. But I do think you’re right, smart phones were the start of the downward trajectory. I lost a lot of people who I thought were friends to smart phones. It turns out they just wanted me around to fix their computers.
