This was apparently a similar issue to what you described in #1 - but I have a very long-standing account with a weekly direct deposit set up that has not changed at all in over a year. So this came completely out of the blue. Nothing different about this transaction than any other.
And unfortunately my experience with Strike support has been nothing like yours. I waited almost a full day to receive an very unhelpful “we’re looking into it” reply, and they then refused to provide me with sufficient information to a) understand what was going on or b) how to fix it.
I ended up having to contact Prime Trust (Strike’s custodian) directly in order to receive the support I should have gotten from Strike right away.
My issues are still unresolved and my funds locked now going on day 3.
