A developer is asking the county to re-zone a small section of the county that I live in, just down the road from our house, to build higher density housing. The reaction has been pretty negative, folks are worried it’ll “turn into Seattle” because they’re trying to quadruple density, and there’s a lot of NIMBY-ism.

The land they own is zoned for one dwelling unit per 20 acres. They’re asking for it to be changed to one dwelling unit per 5 acres. So dense! /s
