I’m staunchly pro delete, too many billionaires promoting things like blockchain and blue sky where delete is hard. It reminds me of when go*gle first started and was like, wear our glasses it’s cool to livestream your whole life be hip and modern etc etc and they just wanted to harvest more and more data. Also, the state will always use anything they can find on you against you too (not saying delete will effectively stop their data collection from happening, but still). This recent trend smells fishy all around.

Everyone should have a right to start over and erase mistakes and hide from stalkers and criminals etc. I don’t think it’ll happen in practice, though, and unfortunately I don’t think people will adjust their behavior to be more careful with what personal info they post on nostr, but just going on the record here.
