If we brought internet access outside Earth, it would enable us to access data from any point in the solar system or even outside it. It could enable us to communicate with those who are far away, as well as connect with our own devices and satellites. It could also prove to be helpful in research, navigation and exploration, since it would enable us to access data from different parts of the universe, measure distances and gather new information.
