I’ve hoped that those gripped with fear of non-existent threats (chips in vaccines, racial replacement conspiracies, woke mobs, etc) might see through those confecting the fuel for their anxiety and rage. That hope is faint. The truth is that humans have always been at their cruellest and most deadly when dealing with imagined threats and it’s the always marginalised who have been victimised. #politics #populism
