One time Tek Jr and I were in a drugstore looking for cheap office gifts ($5 limit). I saw a funny little bird and said "five bucks, yer gettin' a bird." Then we saw another, and again, "five bucks, yer gettin' a bird". TJ was giggling. We kept this up for a surprising amount of time. "Hey Dad! 👉🦉" "Five bucks, yer gettin' a bird!" "LOL"
Fast forward, I have an office bookshelf filled with stuffed birds that TJ has given me for every birthday, Christmas, Father's Day, etc. since then.
