"Dark mode" makes me so sad. Not because it's inherently bad or whatever, but because in the 90s and early 2000s, computers were drastically more customizable. You could have whatever colors you wanted, you could reskin it to look like a Star Trek computer, or a steampunk thing, or a cyberpunk thing, or your favorite show, or... whatever you wanted!
And now people are overjoyed speaking in tongues with glee because they can choose one of two corporate-approved color schemes.
Just god damned pathetic and sad.
