like i'm just saying that if you a) accept the premise that COVID is "here to stay" and b) are happy to see masks go away, then you're really showing your total inability to mentally separate the jarring sudden appearance of face masks from the jarring sudden realization of danger, to the point where you've conflated the problem with one solution
