Depends on what you mean by that. The way it normally works in Chrome is that it generates an actual APK via a Google WebAPK service. Chromium has a fallback of making shortcuts which open activities of the browser to function as standalone applications. Vanadium has to use the fallback. Apps beyond the launcher can't see that there are shortcuts and apps can't see what other apps are doing. The proper WebAPK support actually makes an app to install.
