I am paid hourly at an investment bank.

I could come in at 8:30a, take my hour break at 12:30p, and leave at 5:30p.

However, any overtime is 1.5x my hourly rate. I thus come in at 7:30a + rarely take a full lunch break. It’s a grind.

Why do I do it?

First, I get a lot more done than someone working eight hours—which helps with gaining knowledge + mobility.

Second, I use most of the overtime to stack #sats. When bitcoin is this cheap, it incentivizes us to stack harder. I stack for my future kids. And their kids. They will know dad/grandpa did the best he could to stack. My current girlfriend (future wife) will not have to stress about our finances. We will be fine.
