Okay, I’ve been lurking in the shadows here for awhile. (Or stuck my head in the sand like a #nostrich.) I guess it’s time for an #introduction. I’m an author, editor, and filmmaker; a voracious reader, a passionate filmgoer, and an occasional hardcore gamer. Also I’m a tech enthusiast excited to watch the future transform into the present, rooting for decentralization and open protocols to take off whenever and wherever possible. I’m very excited by the potential of #Nostr: I’d like to find the niches of this platform that cater to my interests and that are interested in what I have to offer as well. (Yes, this means if you follow me you will have to put up with me marketing my own stuff, haha, but I also actively engage with accounts and posts that are doing things that interest me.) Topics and genres I’m looking to plug into include #writing (talk of the craft, and general networking), #reading (#horror #scifi #fantasy #contemporary #ergodic #experimental), #film (although I do enjoy the mainstream fare, I have a soft spot for #underground and #ArtCinema: stuff only like two people on earth have heard of in spite of the fact that it’s totally amazing; or that channels a very specific passionate auteur overcoming budgetary restraints kind of vibe, and anything “Lynchian”), and #music (#rock #ProgRock #Jazz #industrial #goth #darkwave #electronica).
