The people who bounced off of Mastodon in the last year are interesting to think about. Mastodon might have lost them forever but they are probably some of the most open to trying new things. (I worry Calckey might not be different enough. If the second time goes badly, their negative associations are more likely to extend beyond Masto to ActivityPub, so it's important to get this right.)
