Cars made transportation very fast and we got hooked. Coldly and objectively, we should unlearn this and accept that public transport is slower, and adapt our lives around this (degrowth-ing our lifestyles and reducing distances, in our lives and infrastructure).
But me, the egoistic individual? if the public option is >2x the time, I'll drive too, for sure...
