I am missing this too. I suspect it uses too much battery and relay computing power if the websocket connection is open all the time. I also would like to see specific notification types filtered by NIP-51 and hashtags. Not sure what could be a good solution yet. possibly a relay that can push by another protocol such as pub-sub is in https://ntfy.sh/
