problem here was that the handle wasn't made with the grain straight down the handle, so it split across the grain.
and this wasn't due to a strike on the handle. happened from normal use
made in india. thanks guys for selling us out and making a shitty dangerous tool that almost caused serious injury. hope it was worth the extra $20 profit to almost tear a huge gash in someone's leg with a flying razor sharp axe head
