I love it when tech conferences have booths for small local businesses, user groups, and hobbyist demos. I get that it's a revenue point for AWS or Facebook to get a big prominent booth somewhere as a sponsorship perk, but having the other stuff makes it far more likely I'll check out the booths at all. If you want me to see the AWS booth that Amazon paid 5-6 figures for, then include the others in that area as well.
