I'm guessing that's total cholesterol, but either way, it's irrelevant. Long story short, "high" cholesterol, as a sole marker, has never been proven to increase the risk of developing cardiovascular disease. On the contrary, the very little somewhat well done nutritional research that exists has shown that lowering cholesterol too much (<70mg/dL) ends up with higher mortality rates in people over the age of 65.

If you are feeling great and every other lab test has an optimal value (not the same as inside the reference range), then there's most likely no need to worry about cholesterol. I say this because there miiight be a chance high cholesterol is "bad" in case you are in a chronic state of inflammation, as is the case for diabetes or being obese. Plus, since the science is not completely clear on this, I can't say with 100% confidence that there's nothing to worry about. But my personal opinion is, don't worry about it.

As to answering your question, don't tell the doc you're on a carnivore diet, just say you're doing a ketogenic diet. It seems to fry their brains less. Also, deny any statin offered to you, that's poison. KenDBerryMD (nprofile…28kw) has some videos on his YouTube channel with studies in the description that you can print out for your doc to read. Cheers!
