Update on my switch from W10 to #Ubuntu : I did it! A couple little hiccups, but I now have Ubuntu on my laptop. I kept a W10 partition for now, because a couple programs I use don't have #Linux versions, but most of my 1TB drive is now for Ubuntu. Now, I just have to learn to use it. 😁 I'd like to put Google Chrome on it so I can synch it with my tablet and phone, but it's not in the app store.
