Agent Orange was actually a powerful defoliant chemical sprayed across the countryside from aircraft to kill vegetation, thus denying cover and killing food crops. Some of it was made here in New Zealand (Monsanto, I think). It was also dropped on our patrolling troops (NZ participated in Vietnam) with dire health consequences for them and their descendants in later life.",
