That's exactly what is happening. Tether and other financial institutions are buying bitcoin with loaned fiat. That is mainly what is driving the price up. Once the banks sort out the blockchain, bitcoin will be confiscated the same way gold was confiscated. People will receive their digital dollar, stablecoin,cbdc, or whatever they will call it.
