BBC reports about new #Russia tactics in #Kherson oblast where frequency of drone attacks against civilians increased significantly increased - notably, most evidence comes from Russian own channels who post them without much hesitation.

The thing I can add - that is not mentioned in BBC article - is that Russians unrolled this tactics already 1-2 months ago when they started openly posting civilians attack videos on their channels. They posted two justifications, if you will, which tell you more about their system of values more than anything else:
drone strikes against civilians are a convenient way of training their new UAV operators;
Kherson residents report #Ukraine army locations in their area, which will buy them “immunity” from drone strikes for some time
Documenting these cases, as BBC does, is important for historic reasons because in 10 years Russia will deny everything. But from today’s perspective, no amount of shares, likes or international outrage doesn’t help residents of Kherson. The only organisation in the world that can actually prevent these attacks is Ukraine’s armed forces who has instruments to do so - electronic warfare and weapons for conterstrikes. So you can do what I do, which is simply donating $5 or more whenever I read such horrible news about Russian attacks. For UAV specific crowdfunding, you can donate to Madyar unit - they have plenty of ways to donate, from PayPal brovdi.edgar@yahoo.com to cryptocurrencies and SEPA/SWIFT payments listed here https://t.me/robert_magyar/12
P.S. this is probably the first or second time I’m recommending any particular fund raiser, which I so far avoided because I myself wouldn’t trust fundraisers posted by random people on social media. But when I get direct messages from people asking the same question - where to donate - I think such recommendations do have some value.
