About 80% of the way through Dark Souls II now and I can see why people say it's the worst of the series. The bosses are too easy and you just plow through them instead of having to learn the dance like with DS3. The endgame (post Shrine of Winter) is an improvement so far, though! Marked difference to DS1 where quality fell off a cliff after Anor Londo.
