That entire thing was so bizarre. Person A caused the accident. While they were stumbling around on the sidewalk trying to deny what they did, person B took over the wheel and drove off. Person A then just walked, later ran off, while I called the cops. Multiple witnesses and photos.
Later on person B parked the car down the street from where we left the scene. Called cops again.
Bizarre bordering on hilarious...
