I've been told that the Public Order Response Team (PORT) are outside the court, presumably for the XR solidarity group.
There's such a cultural disconnect there. A group of students and retirees, singing protest songs in a non violent show of support, simply aren't going to require the riot squad.
It's the right who throws things and assaults the media and storms public buildings. I find it a little concerning that someone can't tell the difference between a 60-something, peaceful, yarn-bombing protester, and a 30-something recently-divorced NAZI who's been training for war.
