Thinking about a question I saw re section 230, and it occurs to me that there's a bit of irony in the conversations around 230 in that many of the same folks (Not, as far as I know, the person I was replying to! They just got me thinking...) who migrated to Mastodon for a more humane experience might support killing/altering 230 due to poor media coverage of the law, without realizing that, without 230, Mastodon probably wouldn't exist as their instance operators could be sued into the ground.
