Lexie Bean on Nostr: ...
Window into the 100 most used words amongst letters queer and trans people wrote to places they’ve had to leave behind. They are a part of a collection I am publishing with Jessica Kingsley Publishers next summer - “Meet Me There, Another Time.”
Dangdang so much work and life went into this project, and I’m thankful to the ~80 people who offered their words, maps, and time. It’s all made life a lil less lonely and I hope it can do the same for some future readers.
In the meantime, I recommend saying some of these words out loud, even in a whisper. See what you notice; what you learn; what you miss; what’s still with you.
