The thing that drives me up the wall with conspiracy theorists is that the real answers are every bit as horrific, but they're also pretty much just out there in the open.

It's not a secret society pulling all this shit: it's just plain old capitalists and billionaires.

And they mostly don't have to pull these overly complicated schemes to manipulate people because our society is straight-up structured to benefit them and control us.
