Calibre is the Platonic ideal of software. It's such a beautifully designed and executed piece of work, free and open source, and essentially the expression of one genius, Kovid Goyal. It's not the prettiest - it's a very simple layout (which I actually prefer), but it's so powerful, intuitive, lightning fast. The basics of library management work so well, and it's packed with features under the hood that don't get in the way of its core function, but are there to be discovered. ❤️ 📗 #foss
