I have limited physical, mental, and emotional energy, and I have to focus on the things that keep me alive today. I do listen to or read Heather Cox Richardson’s Letter from an American every day, and a few other daily posts. And I follow people here, but most of my News folks are now in a separate list that doesn’t show on my main timeline. The names of the most obnoxious sociopaths are all in my Assholes filter, which prevents me from even seeing stories about them most of the time. Which is fine for me. I already know all I need to know about them.

I live the life of a hermit in many ways, and yet, I haven’t missed a major news story since shutting off the firehose on November 5th.
