Amethyst v0.94.3

Amethyst is a Nostr client that allows users to interact seamlessly with the Nostr protocol through a feature-rich interface. Release v0.94.3 introduces the addition of iMeta tags to GIF URLs to optimize GIF previews. It also fixes an issue where an extra empty kind 20 post was created when uploading videos on the media tab. The upload screen behavior has been improved, now only closing if the video upload is successful. Additionally, the release ensures that note reactions remain visible when scrolling. This is the latest release and there were the releases v0.94.0, v0.94.1 and v0.94.2 also in this week.

Connecting Your Alby (npub1get…0nfm) Wallet to the primal (npub12vk…pugg) Android App for Zaps

1. Open Primal App: Make sure you have the latest version of the Primal app installed.
2. Go to Settings: Tap the settings icon and select "Wallet."
3. Select Wallet: You have options to use the built-in Primal wallet or connect an external wallet via NWC (Nostr Wallet Connect). Primal supports Alby, Mutiny, Umbrell, and others.
4. Connect Alby Wallet: Tap "Connect Alby Wallet" to link your Alby wallet. You'll be redirected to nwc.getalby.com to manage your nwc connections within your Alby account. Set permissions for the connection (e.g., monthly budget of 100k sats, expiry time of 1 month).
5. Open in a supported app: In this case you can choose primal.
6. Send Zaps: Once connected, you can easily zap posts by tapping the “Zap” button. No need to open an external wallet app.
7. Receive Zaps: To receive zaps, ensure your Lightning address is set up in the wallet settings.
8. Check Setup: If you can't receive zaps, verify your Lightning address configuration in Alby.
By following these steps, you can seamlessly send and receive zaps using your Alby wallet in the Primal app. Happy zapping!
