Just had the scare of my life. While adjusting my desk the laptop FELL OFF onto the floor, upside down, and everything attached to it by a cable also fell off, plus everything else on the desk like pots of pens, the speaker etc.... I was speechless.

The laptop was still running. When I looked at the screen it was luminous grey, unresponsive.

CTL+ALT+DEL did nothing. I used the off switch to turn it off, and when I dared switch it on again with a lot of fervent prayer --- it worked!!!!
