Well, thanks to paul (npub130l…6x8t), I'm back. I guess I'll have to unplug the computer whenever there are thunderstorms in the forecast, which unfortunately means crawling under my desk on the floor, pretty much every day the way things are going.

I still don't see why the stupid computer turned on every time the power came back. It never did that before, and I'm talking for years. Maybe I can figure how to reset it so it doesn't.

But all's well that ends well, I guess.
