People are going to #bluesky instead of #mastodon for one simple reason: Mastodon was designed by techies for techies and bluesky is MUCH easier to use.
No one cares who funded what when one site requires you to upload a damn csv file to follow a bunch of accounts, or makes you search for an account to follow, and the other has a simple button.
