Hi Derek. I'm new here and completely overwhelmed. The nice neighbors in the #bitcoinjungle brought me and I kinda like the place, would maybe like to stay. 💕
But everyone here seems super tech-savvy and I'm more... like the Harry Potter crowd. Is NOSTR both? 🪄✨💫
Got a few questions, mostly relating to relays and setting up with my (existing) lightning wallet. May I ask? Here, I assume? (I don't think there's any other NOSTR messaging option... Dunno, maybe it exists and I just haven't found it yet... seems to be the way here.) About this #relay thing. Seems to be kind of a big deal, but maybe something they designed in so that you wouldn't accidentally post all your newbie stuff to the whole wide world. Let's come back to that.
First question, what's a purple pill? I'm just a baby Bitcoiner... I'm looking forward to nerding out on your resources. Thanks!
Second question, how do I pick the right relay? I've seen many of these names out there... is it like a Sorting Hat? Will I regret if I get sorted into the wrong relay? Will it be for reasons I haven't even imagined yet?
