The wonder of youthful ignorance and curiosity is something to be cherished. There's so much to learn. It slows down a bit when you're older. You may not have deep knowledge of every subject, but you've at least touched on most subjects that an educated person is expected to be familiar with. You take it for granted that there's always something new to discover right around the corner, but those become rarer with age.
