It has four 48VDC Lithium Manganese Oxide (LiMn2O4) batteries in parallel. I have forgotten their capacity & I can't seem to find the data right now. I geared it for 50mph. I've gone 60 miles on a charge, but I'm not sure what the resulting depth of discharge was. Seemed like it could go further. Typically, I recharge after 45-50 miles. I never let them stand fully charged. Charge to ~80% & top off in the morning.
