I find much of what the EZLN has done to be incredible and inspiring and worthy of support and solidarity. I'm certainly not anti-Zapatista. At the same time, as they have admitted, mistakes are made. They're just humans trying to do the best they can. But radicals across the board tend to treat them as icons who cannot be questioned. I am interested not in critiquing for the sake of being negative or bringing them down, but in the interest of a holistic perspective on a movement that has touched so many across the globe.
