We've been traditionially super allergic to any form of backlog or classic product management, which I still am a fan of.
At the same time we were pretty elitist and isolated ourselfs from customer support and all other great folks that are in the trenches, which lead to being SUPER out of touch with user needs. Overengineered user interviews did not help at all. You know what did?
