If you can’t see why anyone would prefer Bluesky to Mastodon: it’s Trust & Safety. On Bluesky, I can detach my post from a quote post if someone is dunking on me, I can hide specific replies to my posts, I can change who can interact with a post - even after the fact, and the block feature is robust.
On Mastodon, the only tool I have is blocking for myself, which means that vile replies to my posts will remain viewable for everyone else. The lack of T&S tools makes it unviable for many people.
