They ended when members from the House of Lancaster (red rose) and the House of York (white rose) got married (lol). From that we got the Tudor rose, a combo of white and red petals. Not a pink mixture, just different layers of each. Now I’m looking at rose symbology again and trying to see how pink could fit in all of this. Thank you for the rabbit hole. 🙃
