I was in a jogger's apartment this week to fix the dryer. Right when I walked back to the room it was in... *chirp!* I laughed and the building maintenance guy who was with me asked what was so funny. I dared not explain this to an old boomer. As we left I said "I think their smoke detector battery might be out."
