Has there ever been a more resounding “Who gives a shit” to the death of a human being? Kissinger comes to mind. I’m sure there were others, but they were well known. An anonymous 50-yo, however wildly wealthy, is shot to death on the street and there was a collective, “Meh. Probably deserved it. Good riddance.”
I mean, I agree, but that’s something.
