Found out this week from my old boss that they are indeed looking to sell the company to some firm looking to buy up a lot of small companies in the market segment. He says my allocation is ~2%, but according to the papers it says I should have ~12.5%. He says that couldn't be right, but it's what the papers say. We didn't really fight about it (from what I can remember of the night, anyway). In any case, it'll be a nice windfall if the sale goes through. I don't really feel the need to press the issue until it happens, for now it's just a spec of hope to keep me going as I wage in the cage.
